Through its partnership with Antarang Foundation, SJNEFFL helped more than 1,600 young people across Mumbai develop career awareness, employability skills and clear pathways to future opportunities. Through career guidance, mentoring and experiential learning, students gained the confidence and skills needed to transition into education, training and employment.

Over three years, SJNEFFL partnered with Swayam Shikshan Prayog to strengthen the economic resilience of rural women in Solapur, India. Through entrepreneurship training, mentoring, digital skills development and access to interest-free financing, hundreds of women started or expanded businesses, increasing incomes and building more sustainable livelihoods.

SJNEFFL supported The Silver Line to train 305 volunteers, providing weekly calls to 282 isolated older people in the UK. Further outreach engaged 1,540 Gujarati-speaking elders in North London, recruited Gujarati-speaking volunteers, and helped The Silver Line build knowledge to better support ethnic minority communities facing loneliness.

SJNEFFL supported TAFFED to provide daily uji porridge at Mizimbini School in Kigamboni, Tanzania, helping address hunger as a barrier to learning. Since the programme began, school enrolment has increased by 17%, attendance has improved, and more children are gaining the opportunity to learn and build better futures.

SJNEFFL supported China Coast Community, which cares for 39 elderly residents, by funding a qualified dietician to provide monthly nutritional guidance and clinical support. This intervention has strengthened resident care, helping ensure tailored dietary advice, improved nutrition, and responsive support for elderly residents with increasing care needs.

SJNEFFL supported Unnati to train over 200 youth in Surat in life skills, values, spoken English, and computer skills. The programme helped vulnerable young people build confidence and employability, resulting in 113 job placements with an average salary of INR 8,000, including roles with leading brands.

SJNEFFL supported 20 handloom weavers in Mubarakpur to launch Mubarakpur Weaves, building skills, product ranges, and direct market access. The initiative doubled daily incomes, secured Craftsmark Certification and a Fabindia order, and empowered weavers to independently showcase and sell their work across India.
